Answer first

A dental practice is easier to evaluate when treatments, specialties, location, new-patient status, hours, public insurance information, verified credentials and contact details are clear and consistent. None of those elements guarantees an AI recommendation.

Map patient questions to verified public facts

Facts that need an accountable owner

  • TreatmentsA qualified practice reviewer confirms current services and limitations.
  • Provider credentialsNames, licenses, specialties and affiliations are verified before publication.
  • Patient accessStaff maintain hours, new-patient status, contact paths and public payment information.
  • Profile consistencyWebsite and major profiles agree on identity, location and availability facts.

Name treatments and specialties accurately

Use the treatment terms the practice can verify and explain what the page is for. Avoid unsupported superiority, painless-treatment or guaranteed-outcome language. Treatment descriptions and clinical claims should be reviewed through the practice's own professional and compliance process.

Make access information easy to verify

  • State the practice address and current regular hours.
  • Explain the new-patient process and whether new patients are currently accepted.
  • Publish insurance or payment information only when it can be kept current.
  • Provide a clear phone or booking route and realistic response expectations.
  • Separate emergency instructions from routine appointment information.

Keep the website and profiles aligned

Google says Business Profile can show a business's location, hours, phone, website and customer reviews, and it recommends complete and accurate information for local results. Maintain those facts because patients use them. Do not claim that profile completion directly controls an independent AI recommendation.[Get started with Google Business Profile][Tips to improve your local ranking on Google]

Publish only verified credentials and professional facts

Provider names, qualifications, specialties, professional affiliations and licensing statements should be current and verifiable before publication. If a claim cannot be confirmed by the practice, remove it or describe the service without that claim. This page does not evaluate clinical quality or provide medical advice.

Treat reviews as patient feedback, not clinical proof

Ask for genuine feedback without incentives or requested wording. Reviews can help prospective patients understand experience and practical details, but they should not be presented as proof of clinical outcomes. Google prohibits incentivized and manipulated reviews.[Tips to get more reviews][Prohibited and restricted content]

Use dental structured data conservatively

Schema.org includes Dentist as a LocalBusiness subtype, and Google recommends the most specific applicable type. Mark up visible, accurate identity, address, phone and hours. Structured data helps label facts but does not establish eligibility, quality or a guaranteed AI mention.[LocalBusiness type][LocalBusiness structured data][General structured data guidelines]
